An amalgamation of the Naval Drawing personnel gave inception to ALL INDIA NAVAL DRAUGHTSMEN (AINDA) in year 1993 and became 1st Recognized Association under CCS Recognition Rule 1993 within Ministry of Defence vide MOD letter No. CP(L)/1422/AINDA/D(JCM)1891/95/D(JCM) dated 18th Jun 1995.
AINDA is a service Association bearing National character, functioning on its objectives within Naval Establishments and its Head office located in the union territories of India i.e. NCT Delhi. The association look after the service interest of Group “B” and “C” Non-Gazatted , Naval Drawing cadre.
Past History: The Drawing staff of Indian Navy was the part of All India Naval Technical Supervisors Association(AINTSSA) till 1993.
The AINTSSA, Divisional offices, New Delhi was consisting 100% Drawing staff and Draughtsman posted in other Naval Establishments were member of respective AINTSSA offices operative in all three Commands. The AINTSSA, HO suspended its Divisional office New Delhi in year 1990 due to Dharana in front of South Block held for Drawing staff demands.
The Naval authority tactfully made Chief Draughtsman post as Gazetteddivide strength of Delhi Division and all top office bearersof Delhi division resigned being designated as Gazatted post.Also the majority members left primary membership of AINTSSA due to action taken after Dharna at South Block. Kamal Singh, Joint Secretary (Org.) remains leader with highest post along with some executive committee members in AINTSSA Delhi Division.
I started rebuilding organization and reconstituted Governing council. Re-organized Drawing cadre and worked hard to bring all Drawing staff under one fold.
A meeting was conducted after intervention of Defence Secretary between AINTSSA. HO and its suspended branch of Delhi. The following were present in the meeting.
Head Office AINTSSA: President Sh. Arvindakshan and Gen. Secretary RP Sharma.
Divisional office, AINTSSA: Sh.DDileep Kumar, President Sh. Kamal Singh , Secretary and Subhash Yadav Exe.Member.
Chairman: DCP Capt. DR Acharya.
The suspension of Divisional office was withdrawn in year 1993. Sh. Kamal Singhallowed 1st time in General Body Meeting of AINTSSA, Head Office and took partat Mumbai. The following main grievances of Drawing staff remain unresolved after AINTSSA GBM also:
Lastly the Kamal Singh and D DileepKumar decided to establish a new Association as per CCS Recognition Rule-1993. The Drawing staff of Delhi, Visakhapatnam and Ghatkopar of Mumbai extended full support to in constitution of AINDA. The following persons took active part in constitution of AINDA.

Sh. PK Pattnayak, Sh Someshwer Rao and MD Maharana from Visakhapatnam.
Sh SK Bose and Manoj Jadhav from CTS Ghatkopar Mumbai united their members to establish AINDA.

We got several hardship from inside cadre ( A group of Drawing Staff mainly Mr. Sridharan, K Janardhan from Mumbai, Mahavir Singh, SK Sharma from New Delhi and KKA Kutty from Kochi who made another association named NTDA and submitted paper for recognition) but we succeeded to recognised this Association.
The AINDA became first newly recognised association to get opportunity to represent in JCM since 1995 and Sh. Kamal Singh, General Secretary of AINDA became 1st JCM Member of NHQ JCM Council from AINDA. All other associations got this opportunity after year 2002.

Sh. Kamal Singh is continuously leading this organization as top executive since beginning i.e.1994 to till date (2014).
CDRA: The AINDA have pride to be one of the founder organizationsin constitution and recognition of CDRA. Sh. Kamal Singh and D Dileep Kumar took active part in constitution of Confederation known as Confederation of Defence Recognised Association (CDRA).
Sh Kamal Singh was selected as Joint secretary of Adhoc committee of CDRA and became Joint Secretary after its recognition, representing Navy since first Governing Council of CDRA till date. The AINDA affiliated with Confederation of Defence Recognized Association. Sh Kamal Singh was served as General Secretary from 2018 till his retirement. Now Mr. Mahendrapal Singh Baghel is holding the post of Secretary in CDRA.
There are 04 Federations and Confederations within Defence which known as AIDEF, INDWF,BPMS and CDRA.
